On closer inspection, the extremely high level of craftsmanship quickly becomes apparent. The surface of the cover is 100% special-processed canvas-like fabric on which one can see the structuring and adhesion of the colors of the close-to-nature embroidery threads. The dense thread filling in the tips of the flower petals and the deep green leaves creates a 3D relief effect, which can be felt with your fingers.

The great number of stitches densifies this relief and makes the design appear like soft, plush fabric. When the “text-feather” moved into the inside, the smooth, bright white surface of the paper (100gsm) was found to be in high contrast with the noir ink to provide a crisp read.
